Ribtec Rib Boat 6.2 M Mercury Optimax 115 Trailer Ribcraft Ribeye For Sale – 7250.00

Filed in for sale by on August 31, 2016

Hi there and welcome to this auction for my boat which is specifically a RIBTEC CL620 rib powered by a Mariner 115 Optimax engine sitting on a braked 4 wheel trailer. I have to say this is a very reluctant sale of this boat that I have owned for three years now as we want to buy a caravan and we can't have both. It is now only for sale again as the winning bidder could not complete within the specified timescales. I am now listing it as a buy it now. In the time that I have owned the boat she has wanted for nothing. I am very particular about anything that I own and look after everything carefully having work done as needed. To that end if you are reading this you will know that Ribtec were taken over by Ribeye so these boats have a very good pedigree and she handles excellently in all waters. The boat is a 1997/1998 model, 6.2 meters long and the hull is protected by a nearly full length keel guard. There are only minor marks to the hull with no gouges and it is in very good order. On board the boat there is a double jockey seat underneath which houses the fuel tank with a capacity of circa 90 litres. There is separate access to this console through a front hatch also. The battery is housed in this console with the dead man handle at the rear of it. On the starboard side of the console are 2 in built fire extinguishers. On the console itself there are a variety of gauges, including a Mercury Smartgauge showing hours, temperature etc, fuel gauge, auxiliary power source, and rev counter. All of these gauges work. There is also afully functional M;tech 500 VHF radio fitted. There is also a Garmin plotter and fish finder combined (these aren't working but should be something simple and I'll try and get a look at it) Lastly there is a ball compass and nav lights on the stainless steel 'A' frame The tubes themselves are in very good order and have only one small patch on the portside where I caught it reversing into the drive this year. The repair was done professionally and cost £400 at the start of this year and is barely visible. When the tubes are polished up they look very smart. There is a Ducks back waterproof boat cover in the sale also, it is starting to show its signs of age though. The engine was serviced at the start of the season and has not done 20 hours since then. In total the engine has done less than 150 hours from new (verified from printout) and is an absolute cracker. It takes this boat to 40 knots easily. It is a two stroke with an auto fill pre mix under the engine hood. Only ever used the proper DFI oil in it obviously. This has really been looked after and being a 2004 engine it has done literally no hours at all. Power tilt and trim off the throttle and engine side also. It is running a 19 degree prop at the moment and I have new spare to go with the sale as does a genuine mercury hood cover. The trailer is also fantastic and I have spent a lot of money on it (over £1000 in fact) in the last year where I replaced both axles, wheels and tyres with indespension units. Obviously it had a new braking system at the same time as these come with the axles. These bearings are watertight needing no maintenance. Brand new spare wheel and tyre also. i towed this over 1000 miles this year to the north of Scotland. It does tow brilliantly and does not move from the road, is very stable and pulls squarely on the brakes. The boat has a few extras such as front and rear anchor and chain, some fenders, life buoy and other small bits and bobs that will go with the sale. For serious buyers who wish to view, the boat is located near Penistone in Yorkshire but I could transport to my friends in Fife, Scotland if needed. I'm only too pleased to take any one out in the boat for a trial however if that's not possible for you be confident that the boat is as described, I have paperwork for the services, the name of the dealer that serviced it and the company who fitted the axles etc. Lastly, whilst this is a new ebay account I have been using it for years but had to start a new one for technical issues (changed my emails and passwords for other accountsso it was easier in the long run as I'm a bit of a technophobe!) I do know all the scams however so please don't try any. I am a genuine ebayer and this boat will be a bargain for someone as I have set a very realistic reserve on it. Engine and boat serial numbers are available on request. There is a £250 deposit to be paid at auction end unless agreed beforehand and the full amount within 3 days. I will not post abroad but may be able to help with delivery. The boat is for sale elsewhere and may be sold at any time. There is a video of the boat on the water this year 1 month ago. The hyper link is https://youtu.be/pSKDgaYPVf4 I have loads more pics if anyone wants them. Good luck and any questions please don't hesitate to ask. On 23-Aug-16 at 08:23:07 BST, seller added the following information: Hi folks. I meant to add that I also have a double seat for the boat that I will give to the new purchaser. It is a double side by side seat where the back flips forward allowing you to sit either way in the boat. It is upholstered in blue with a white base to match the deck and cost me £500. Loads of storage in it as well. I did have it on the boat but decided I wanted to remain with the original configuration for my then present needs. If interested message me and I can send you a picture.
