"Silverfox" Osprey Vipermax 6.5m RIB Powered by Mariner Optimax 150 V6 Petrol 2 stroke. Fitted with separate oil tank. Hours not known. This boat has deep V hull, making it extremely sea worthy, not all RIBs are made to this level. Here is a review of the Vipermax, see link below http://hotribs.com/05ribreviews/003-osprey/osprey.asp I have added as much detail about the Rib as I can think of below.Professionally winterised at end of 2015 season and recently professionally de-winterised for this season, with New battery fitted at same time.Rear stainless steel arch, housing searchlight (disconnected) and Echomax Radar Reflector. Fitted with 2 brackets with 2 yellow life horse shoes.Rear and forward facing rear bench seat ( back rest flips to suit), with built in storage locker for 2 batteries and 2 stroke oil tank. Battery isolator switch fitted to rear outside of locker, can switch batteries on individually or both at once and obviously all off.2 Helm Jockey seats, with grab handles on rear for the rear bench passengers to hold on. Under seat storage beneath both seats.Helm console with storage locker beneath, complete with screen, instrumentation, radio, depth/fish finder and GPS.Suicide seat to front of console for 2, with built in storage locker beneath.Bow anchor locker complete with post.Standard Horizon VHF radio.Garmin GPS 238 with echo sounder and fish finder.Garmin GPS 750 colour touchscreen, fitted to bracket and easily removed for security.Hydraulic streering and engine trim, with powered engine tilt.Compass.Navigation lights.Bilge pump fitted, but inop, never bothered getting it checked or replaced as transom has sump and Elephant Trunk self bailer fitted, so bilge pump is redundant.Built into hull 400 Lt fuel tank, or so I'm told, I've never emptied and refilled to find out! Fuel separation vessel fitted.Boarding ladder on transom, useful if using for water sports. Tailored overall cover.SBS twin axle trailer, brakes disconnected. Spare wheel. Complete with axle hub flush. Jockey wheel is damaged, but as I keep the boat on a tractor launch boat yard, it is not needed, cheap to replace, but not bother as it is likely to get damaged when launching at low tide across the beach. Up until last year the trailer was used on the road, however I keep the boat ashore in a boat yard and don't have a tow car. If planning on towing, will require light board. Port side rear most tube has slight leak, will lose pressure over 24/48 hour period, dependant on ambient temperature, never an issue on the water. I just give it few pumps with the foot pump and it stays up. This leak was there with the last few owners and is a common RIB issue, could just be a valve, not bothered to check.Only selling as family not always coming to North Wales regularly enough, plus change in personal circumstances prevents too many boys toys, so motorbikes are staying and boat going... Sea trial welcome, launch and recovery by tractor is £24, plus £20 for fuel. The RIB is kept ashore on the Menai Straits, Anglesey, North Wales. I can make most weekends for viewing. Inbox me if you have any questions or to arrange a viewing.
